Even though her days as a supermodel may have passed, one thing remains constant: Cindy Crawford looks great. And that’s no easy feat to pull off: how many celebs have we seen lose their looks or, even worse, hurt them by overdoing it with implants and other cosmetics procedures?
But Cindy is consistent. How does she do it? Well, after combing through interviews with this all-time supermodel, we found a few hints the rest of us can try, too.
Dry Brushing. Dry brushing not only helps in brushing off unwanted dead skin but also can invigorate your body, mitigate the appearance of cellulite, stimulate the lymphatic system and decongest the skin. After dry brushing her body, Cindy often applies Neutrogena Body Oil and let her body get soak in it for few seconds.
Stop with the Salt. In an interview with Elle magazine, Cindy says she solved her problem with eye puffiness by reducing her salt intake by using lemon juice on sushi instead of soy sauce. She also avoids wine, switching to tequila on the rocks with lime.
No Neglecting the Neck. Cindy also has said in an interview that she has been doing neck exercises for years to keep that area firm-looking.
Adding Sauna to the Schedule. Cindy is fond of going into infrared sauna and spending her 20 minutes once per week on this activity. Infrared saunas use infrared light rather than the heated air used by traditional saunas. Proponents believe that infrared saunas can help with weight loss and conditions like arthritis.
Be careful with heat on hair. Cindy is well aware that too much hair on your hair can cause all kinds of damage, so she tends to tie up her hair with Emi-Jay hair ties in a loose bun, making it easier to style in the morning without having to rely on a blow dryer.
